FAQS

Essential Edition (25kW, 2x9kWh battery modules): 1,200 kg (1.2T). This includes the hull, all permanently installed equipment, and fixed systems. It excludes passengers, luggage, and consumables (water, etc.). Signature Edition (50kW, 4x9kWh battery modules): 1,650 kg. This is the all-in weight without passengers.
The range would heavily depend on your cruising speed and of course, the battery capacity you have installed in your boat. Assuming you have a 4-modules battery with 36kWh capacity in total, including some power from the solar rooftop, and you are driving at ~6 knots cruising speed (or 11.5km/h) you can achieve up to 54nm (or 100km) of range.
Omega is a category C boat, which means it is perfect for use in coastal waters, large bays, lakes and rivers. Category C vessels are created to withstand moderate conditions, specifically winds up to Force 6 (27 knots) and significant wave heights of up to 2 meters (6.5 feet).
We know the importance of the option to customize your own boat, which is why we offer the following customization options: 1. Hull color 2. Decking color 3. Interior color (furniture)
Internal Combustion Engine boats require more care against friction, corrosion, fuel degradation (oil changes, filter swaps, winterizing). Electric boats eliminate this requirement – there, the focus shifts to electrical health and software – such as battery monitoring, terminal tightness, firmware updates. Far less moving parts, almost no effort in winterizing procedures, less wear on hull translates into an overall lower total cost of ownership over the lifetime of your boat. There are no spare parts you need to take care of, and way less concerns over fluids that need to be changed, and the regular maintenance work required for ICE boats.
Semi-deep V-hull for an optimal balance of stability in calm waters and performance in light chop.
The battery life depends on your frequency of usage of the boat. The batteries can go up to 10,000 cycles.
The batteries and motor warranty we provide is eight years.
Wherever your journey ends, Omega is ready to recharge. Every boat comes with an AC Type 2 inlet and an onboard charger that works with: 1. Up to 3 kW (single-phase) – perfect for typical marina power. 2. Up to 9 kW (three-phase) – for significantly faster turnaround where available.
Below are the typical charging times across the three different battery configurations: 1. 7.9 kWh pack (~6 h at 3 kW • ~2 h at 9 kW) 2. 35.8 kWh pack (~12 h at 3 kW • ~4 h at 9 kW) 3. 53.8 kWh pack (~18 h at 3 kW • ~6 h at 9 kW)
Yes, you can add up to 32 packs in parallel to increase capacity, or up to 16 packs in series to increase the voltage. The system supports 48V, 96V and 800V architectures.
The solar peak energy of Omega’s solar panels is 1.55kwp. On a sunny day, the panels will have collected enough energy to bring you back to the shore at very low cruising speed, provided you have at least 10% battery left. We do not recommend draining the battery to 0% while you’re in the water.
